The Skeleton and the Cat

Brandon James Scott is an award-winning Canadian author & illustrator who makes picture books and other art things. He wrote and illustrated The Skeleton and the Cat, which is based on a personal art project he created called DeadCat.

He's the illustrator of over 15 picture books, including A Bear, a Man, and a Donut Van, A Bear, a Fish, and a Fishy Wish, and A Bear, a Bee, and a Honey Tree with Hippo Park, A Cure for the Hiccups with Penguin Random House, and I Live in a Tree Trunk and I Was Born a Baby with HarperCollins.

He is represented by Emily Van Beek at Folio Jr.

Brandon has also worked in animation for close to 20 years and created his own award-winning Netflix series, Justin Time.
